INTENTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS

11-7 Being frugal, rarely vacationing, and not subscribing to cable television allowed Linden Swift to accumulate funds for a special 82^nd birthday event in early January 2012. The New Hampshire Presidential primary election was selected. Winning is the primary goal. Being under funded and probably the oldest candidate means that it would take a miracle to achieve this goal. Republican National Convention selection would require a second miracle. Therefore, a secondary goal is to exceed the 362 votes Al Sharpton amassed in a previous election.  This could result in  Linden being awarded  his own  TV show.

11-7 Consider Herman Cain for VP: a man with uncommon ability. Being twice as black as the President, he should receive twice as many racist motivated votes.

11-8 Consider Sarah Palin for VP: a woman with uncommon knowledge and ability. Even knows where Naknek, Alaska is located.

11-7 Campaign donations will not be solicited or accepted until after the Republican Convention.

11-9 Foreign policy will be set after reviewing recent successes. WAIT!…there are none!!! Now what?

LINDEN’S LIFE

On Friday, I visited with the folks from Thailand for a while at the Mission House, Jennifer, the Vermont college student, called with a few more question about my Presidential campaign, Dan came by for coffee and a visit, and, in the evening, Julie, Kenneth, and Jade took me out for dinner. LINDEN’S LIFE

Thanksgiving was such a good day: first, Sam and Shirley treated seven of us to a great meal at the former Officers Club at Ft. Harrison. Then, we went to their house for a nice visit. In the evening, Julie, Kenneth, and Jade came by for a too short visit…it is always great to see them…Jade is growing like a weed. Brian had called while I was with Sam and the group and called again for a short visit in the evening. I am so blest.

Monday evening I went to Cornerstone church in Brownsburg with a group of men from my church…it was a monthly event used to support Camp Allendale. Good meeting and good food.

INTENTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS

11-7 Being frugal, rarely vacationing, and not subscribing to cable television allowed Linden Swift to accumulate funds for a special 82^nd birthday event in early January 2012. The New Hampshire Presidential primary election was selected. Winning is the primary goal. Being under funded and probably the oldest candidate means that it would take a miracle to achieve this goal. Republican National Convention selection would require a second miracle. Therefore, a secondary goal is to exceed the 362 votes Al Sharpton amassed in a previous election.  This could result in  Linden being awarded  his own  TV show.

11-7 Read 1 Corinthians 9:24.11-7 Consider Herman Cain for VP: a man with uncommon ability. Being twice as black as the President, he should receive twice as many racist motivated votes.

11-8 Consider Sarah Palin for VP: a woman with uncommon knowledge and ability. Even knows where Naknek, Alaska is located.

11-7 Campaign donations will not be solicited or accepted until after the Republican Convention.

11-9 Foreign policy will be set after reviewing recent successes. WAIT!…there are none!!! Now what?

LINDEN’S LIFE

Saturday: Men’s meeting at Kingsway church at 7:30 later, a writers group meeting. At home, had a long conversation with Lizzie of St. Michaels College in Vermont. I had correspondence with her associate, Jennifer, on Friday. I enjoyed this. 

Sunday: church and Sunday school then brunch with friends. Finished reading the Ron Hera book mentioned below. Very good!

LINDEN’S LIFE

Friday way a busy day which started, as usual, with the Men’s Prayer Breakfast at 6:00. I had been contacted by two students, Jennifer and Lizzie, who attend St. Michael’s College at Colchester, VT and today had a long, pleasant phone interview conducted by Lizzie. I have hope for our future.

Wednesday, breakfast was at Chick-fil-A then on to the post office and back by the church. At home, applied a heating pad to my aching back…it helped some. For some unknown reason I was late getting to church for the evening meal. It was followed by a good program.
