LINDEN’S LEGACY

My Bless A Stranger focus has been a low cost enjoyable crowdfunding effort. My first 12 projects, all successfully funded, involved a music DVD, a race car, making a movie, Alaskan teens radio program, seats in a theater, a poet, a website, a writing residency, a third grade newspaper, a poetry press, a children’s book, and a large-scale printer, . My most recent project has a few days to go. I hope that my most recent book SOWING SEEDS OF FAITH will result in at least one person coming closer to Jesus Christ. It touches upon a means you may use that could cause another, as well as yourself, to be blessed.

COMMENTARY: SHATTERED HOPE AND BELIEF

Not for nothing is it called a lame duck session: this duck was lame mentally as well. Linden’s hope was that the session result would be either a shortened continuing budget resolution or a shutdown of non-essential government functions. There are few essential government functions! Linden’s hope was dashed and his belief that the Indiana delegation would lead the way in delivering responsible legislation was dashed as well. It is getting more difficult to believe that the worst Republican legislator is better for America than the best democrat legislator.

Friday brought the usual earl morning Men’s Prayer Breakfast followed by the normal household tasks. In the evening Don and Donna invited four couples and me to their home for a great meal and a fun filled time.

Saturday I had a writers group meeting at the home of Steve and Joyce. It was enjoyable and the food provided was great. Watched I.U. win a basketball game.

Sunday brought church and Sunday School attendance: Jerray Allison and Diana McKowen told me that Dimi Kirk, who I met in Austria seven years ago, was taken to a Los Angeles area hospital as she, her husband, and daughter came to see Kevin’s parents. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was mentioned on our class prayer concerns listing. She will be the subject of my prayers on a continuing basis. In the afternoon, I watched the Colts win a football game and watched parts of Butler losing a basketball game. In the evening, went to a musical program at church.
