Linden’s Legacy:

NEW 8-7. Granddaughter Alison”s new cooking blog:

NEW 8-7. Link to my Bless A Stranger project #20: This expired, unfunded, while I was away…I’ll find another.

To date 17 of the projects I have backed were successfully funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

Check Linden Swift at amazon.com to view his 3 print books and 7 Kindle E-books. Two of the print books each contain 3 of the Kindle books. Sowing Seeds of Faith is his most recent and is available both as a print book and as an E-book. Please check them out when looking for new reads or gifts.

COMMENTARY: I’M BACK FROM IRELAND
Since Linden has not read a paper in over three weeks and has only very sparingly listened to what passes as news broadcasts, he will not be presenting a politically flavored commentary today. Maybe tomorrow. He will only comment today that he had a very enjoyable time in Ohio before and after the trip to Ireland, which was probably the most enjoyable experience ever. Linden expects to be forever thankful that his son, Brian, accompanied him.

MOSTLY ABOUT ME       lswift8@aol.com
Friday Brian and I reviewed the great number of pictures he had taken on our Ireland trip before he drove me the 325 miles back to Plainfield. We arrived about 4:15 and he immediately headed for home. I picked up a huge accumulation of mail and briefly scanned the emails and phone messages. Maybe sent out a few messages.
On Saturday Sam came out from Indianapolis: we had breakfast at the Avon Legion Post and had a nice visit. Shirley had him bring some of the vegetables from their garden. Later I started catching up on the accumulations and also watched Indiana win their football game. Had a nice phone visit with Julie and continued addressing the accumulation.
Sunday brought church and Sunday School attendance followed by brunch with friends. Later, granddaughter, Jade, called regarding a project she is working on for her 2nd grade class and I watched the Colts win a game that had looked out of reach.
An Irish song is your music selection for today. Brian found me a rock to bring home from there.

SONG OF THE DAY: Galway Bay:

REMEMBER

The democrats brought you Obamacare.
Obama, Reid, and Pelosi lead the forces of evil.
Hate crime laws should be overturned.
Baseline budgeting is a taxpayer insult.
Carly answers questions: Hillary does not.
SCOTUS: undeserving of respect.
