To date 17 of the projects I have backed were successfully funded and 2 failed to meet their goal and received no funding. Unfortunately one of the unfunded efforts was my own “Ireland Is Calling” effort. The plan to go in September continues: my thanks to friends who have supported my hope.

COMMENTARY: WITH A HEAVY HEART

I read that the democrats have the votes necessary to stop the Republican attempt to scuttle the Obama agreement with Iran. This is, of course, another attempt to weaken America. A link to the story appears below. I just have to take a few days away from blogging and the computer. Perhaps I will return to the task around the end of September.

Thursday I walked a mile before meeting the guys for breakfast. Went to the post office, two stores, and did a load of wash. Stayed busy. Dan and Diana came by for coffee and conversation.
